Ok, so you make some cooperation with the Finnish search parties? The Finnish authorities are still interested to collect any discovered information concerning about the missing Finnish soldiers in war.

Nice photos. Allthough I think Finns are carrying absolutely too much gear in your photos. Finns didn't usually carry field spades etc. and helmets weren't always popular. Of course some soldiers did carry lots of gear, but according to veterans and real photos, Finn soldiers usually carried only following items: breadbag, mess kit, canteen, belt (I think that brown belt with simple one-prong buckle was more common than M/22 lion buckled belt), puukko knife, backbag and ammo pouch (usually only one carried, of course if person carried rifle). And of course weapon and clothes. Many used M/36 field cap instead of helmet, though helmet was handy in combat. Correct me if I made mistakes.

Y-straps weren't common in regular infantry. Those were mainly for light troops or cavalry, and even they didn't always use them. Did I saw a lotta with rifle in one picture? Lotta's didnt carry a weapon (there were very few expections). Also, I saw a german Mauser 98K in few pics. Those weren't common in Finland. Oh and uniforms are waaaayyyy too clean to present combat-seen troops :)

Still great pics!

Noi kuvat katsoen historian kirjoitukset menee kyllä uusiksi, noissa voitokas neuvostoarmeija valtaa Suomen.Tää ei oo täällä kenenkään syytä,mut aika kornilta tuntuu kun kuvan avaa isommaksi, niin kuvassa kaatuneita Suomalaisia sotureita kypärineen ja alla teksti: Mahdollisuus voittaa PlayStation3

VUOKSA

At July 1944 in this place troops 115-go shooting body of the brigadier general S.B.KAZACHKA sped;speeded up Vuoksu and have seized the staging area on her lion coast. This has opened troops 23-y armies way to liberation of the northeasterly part Kareliskogo

The Finnish army fair can be proud of the defence a position on lake Vuoksa at years of the Second world war. Though as a whole combat actions were terminated for Finland pretty partial потерей of territory, defensive line on Vuokse soviet troops have not been able преодолеть neither during "Voroshilovskogo approach 1940, nor in the course of "Fourth Stalinskogo blow four years after. Consolidated line Vuoksy was considered so reliable that exactly for she was situated single on all East front field synagogue, окормлявшая beside 300 soldiers of the marshal Mannergeyma
