Viimeinen Achtung-lehti (1/2009) kertoo SS-Unterscharführer Georg Diersin seikkailusta Kuningastiikerin johtajana Berliinissä 1945, jossa hän oli lopussa Valtiopäivätalon puolustuksessa. Ihan lopussa hänen vaunuun nousee SS-kenraali Mohnke ja hänen perässään joitakin henkilöitä takakannelle. Myöhemmin Diersille selviää, että takakannella oli mm. Mohnken tytär ja Martin Borman sekä Mohnken sotilaspalvelija. Diers kertoo: "Ziegelstrassella jouduimme hirveään tulitukseen, pst-, kuin jv-aseiden taholta. Vaunusta irtosivat kaikki mm. telakengät, lokasuojat, hinausköydet jne. Ihmisistä jäi jäljelle takakannella vain kankaan ja lihan riekaleita.

Että tämmöinen tarina. Mistäs ne Bormanin luut löytyivät 1973??? Sattuuko tämä Ziegelstrasse kuin kohdille?

Viholliskohtaaminen olisi siis tapahtunut Friedrichstrassella (Ziegelstrassen risteys), mutta Borman olisi kaatunut vasta kauempana Invalidienstrassella (oliko silti haavoittunut jo Ziegelstrassella?).

The authorities said the men were probably Bormann and Ludwig Stumpfegger, one of Hitler's doctors. Splinters of glass cyanide capsules were found in the jawbones.

It is believed they escaped from Hitler's bunker, were trapped by crossfire and killed themselves.

Although the German Government was satisfied with this theory, they locked up the remains in a cupboard at the Frankfurt Public Prosecutor's Office. Family members were prevented from taking them away until there was final identification. - -
